Magnific AI brings its upscaler directly into Photoshop
Magnific AI just launched an official Adobe Photoshop plugin, checking off one of its most requested features for creative pros. Designers and digital artists can now tap into Magnific's AI upscaling and hallucinated detail directly inside their existing Photoshop workflow without switching apps.

If you use Magnific to upscale images, your workflow probably involved exporting, switching to a browser, uploading, downloading the result, and dragging it back into your project. That extra friction is finally gone.
Magnific AI co-founder Javi Lopez announced that the popular upscaler now has an official Adobe Photoshop plugin.
Bringing AI directly into the canvas
According to Lopez, being able to run Magnific natively inside Photoshop was one of the most requested features from creative professionals.
Instead of bouncing between browser tabs and design software, editors can now upscale and enhance their work directly inside Photoshop. The team also rolled out a step-by-step tutorial showing users how to get it running.
Why it matters
For digital artists and designers who already live in Photoshop all day, eliminating export cycles makes a massive practical difference.
In our view, this is a very smart move for Magnific. Standalone AI image tools often struggle with user retention once the novelty wears off. By embedding itself directly into Adobe's entrenched creative ecosystem, Magnific meets professionals right where they already work, which is exactly how niche AI utilities turn into lasting daily habits.
