Runway adds Seedance 2.0 for multi-shot video
Runway just brought Seedance 2.0 to its platform, letting creators generate full multi-shot video sequences complete with sound design and dialogue. It takes text, images, video, or audio as prompts. The catch: it is currently limited to Unlimited and Enterprise users outside the US.
Runway just integrated Seedance 2.0 into its video platform, bringing native multi-shot generation directly to creators.
Multi-shot filmmaking in one prompt
The new integration allows users to feed text, images, video clips, or audio to generate continuous multi-shot sequences in a single run.
Crucially, Seedance 2.0 includes built-in sound design and dialogue. Instead of just stitching mute clips together, the system handles the audio cues and spoken lines right alongside camera cuts.
Access is pretty narrow for now. It is strictly limited to Unlimited plan subscribers and Enterprise accounts, and it is only available to users located outside the United States.
Why it matters
AI video is finally graduating from generating disjointed five-second clips to actually assembling coherent scenes. For solo creators and indie animators, having multi-shot cuts and audio design baked into one workflow cuts out hours of post-production tedium.
We think Runway is making a smart push toward full scene orchestration rather than raw visual fidelity alone. That said, walling off US users entirely suggests that regional licensing constraints or steep compute overheads are still massive bottlenecks.
