Grok Bot is coming to Slack
SpaceXSI is rolling out Slack integration for Grok Bot, letting users connect bots individually to workspaces. Once connected, you can DM or @ mention bots directly in Slack while keeping all plugins, context, and memories intact. The feature is slated for the macOS 1.1.0 build.

Bringing Grok directly into team chat
SpaceXSI is gearing up to roll out Slack integration for Grok Bot.
Users will soon be able to connect their individual bots straight into their Slack workspaces. Once linked, you can trigger them inside Slack just like a coworker, either via a private DM or by using an @ mention in a channel.
Crucially, the bot keeps its brain intact. According to product notes, when you ping a bot in Slack—like an "X Marketer" assistant—it retains the exact same plugins, conversation context, and memories configured on the native side.
The integration is expected to drop in the 1.1.0 build for macOS.
Why it matters
Workplace AI tools gather dust when people have to tab out fifty times a day just to ask a quick prompt. Dropping Grok straight into Slack without resetting its context or plugins makes it immediately useful for day-to-day team execution.
That said, launching this through a macOS build as an individual-level bot connection suggests it is aimed at personal productivity first. Teams needing centralized admin controls, strict compliance policies, and workspace-level governance might have to wait for deeper enterprise features.
