Google Gemini puts interactive 3D simulations right in chat
Google just updated the Gemini app to generate interactive simulations and 3D models directly inside conversations. Instead of staring at static diagrams, you can now drag sliders to adjust variables like gravity and orbit speed or rotate molecules in real time. It is rolling out globally to users on the Pro model.

Asking an AI to explain orbital mechanics used to get you a wall of text and a flat diagram. Google is now turning those answers into playable widgets right inside your chat.
Google began rolling out a new feature for the Gemini app that generates interactive simulations and 3D models directly in your conversation.
Playable physics right in the prompt bar
Instead of reading about orbital mechanics, users can now drag sliders or type in exact numbers for gravity and initial velocity to watch a lunar orbit change in real time. The same applies to chemistry, where you can rotate 3D molecular structures on the fly.
The feature is rolling out globally to all users. To access it, you need to head to gemini.google.com and switch to the Pro model, then ask Gemini to "show me" or "help me visualize" a topic. For now, it is not available for Google Workspace or Education accounts.
Why it matters
This marks a shift in how frontier models deliver information: from static text generation to spinning up on-demand micro-applications. For students and curious users, being able to tweak variables beats reading paragraphs of theory every single time.
It is a clever move to keep Gemini feeling more dynamic than rival text-heavy interfaces. The only real misstep is leaving out Education and Workspace accounts at launch, especially since classroom learning is the most obvious home for this kind of interactive tool.
