ElevenLabs' MCP brings video and audio generation into Claude and ChatGPT

Jumping between tabs to assemble an AI project is a pain everyone knows too well. You draft a script in your favorite assistant, jump to an image generator, open another app for video, and finally land on a dedicated site to generate voices and music.

ElevenLabs is betting that context switching is dead. The company just supercharged its MCP connector, allowing users to generate speech, transcripts, dubs, music, sound effects, images, and video right inside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Grokbot, and Hermes.

Setup is dead simple: one install, a single OAuth sign-in, and zero API keys or servers to manage. Everything is driven by plain-language prompts inside the conversation you are already having.

An entire creative suite in one chat thread

Instead of treating voice as a standalone feature, ElevenLabs plugged over 50 models into a single pipe. The connector handles the creative stack from blank prompt to final assets.

Need a voiceover? Ask for a specific line and delivery from the voice library, and the audio file drops directly into your chat. Pass in an existing recording, and the Scribe engine spits back a clean transcript with speaker labels and timestamps across 99 languages.

Dubbing works the exact same way, translating tracks into other languages while keeping the original speaker tone and cadence intact. You can also generate full music tracks in any genre, with or without vocals, and produce custom sound effects on demand.

Visuals sit right alongside audio. The connector taps leading image and video models to generate visuals, animate them, and even apply lipsync directly within the chat thread. Crucially, every single node available on ElevenLabs Flows canvas can now be accessed via the MCP.

From quick chat to timeline polish

One common frustration with AI chat tools is asset sprawl. ElevenLabs avoids this by routing every single asset generated in the conversation straight into the user's ElevenCreative workspace.
