Claude in PowerPoint arrives for Pro users
Anthropic just brought Claude in PowerPoint to Pro subscribers, complete with Connectors support. The update lets Claude pull context directly from everyday work tools straight into your slides. Why it matters: Anthropic is ramping up direct competition with Microsoft Copilot by embedding Claude directly into core productivity apps.

Drafting slide decks rarely feels productive, especially when the source material is scattered across half a dozen apps. Anthropic just introduced Claude in PowerPoint for Pro plan subscribers, accompanied by new Connectors support.
Bringing daily workflow context into slides
Pro users can now interact directly with PowerPoint files inside the Claude interface.
The real upgrade here is the Connectors feature. Instead of forcing users to manually copy and paste background data, Claude can now pull relevant context straight from everyday workplace tools into your presentation slides.
Anthropic has made the integration available through a dedicated Microsoft 365 entry point for active Pro subscribers.
Why it matters
For anyone spending hours assembling weekly business reviews or pitch decks, pulling data into slides through natural conversation saves real time. If you already pay for Claude Pro, this instantly adds practical utility to your subscription.
It is also a clear offensive move into Microsoft's core territory. While Microsoft has built its entire AI pitch around Copilot being baked into Office 365, Anthropic is showing that external assistants can plug into the same environment just as well via connectors. We think this is a clever expansion into white-collar workflows, though whether it can match the layout control and stability of native Microsoft integrations remains to be seen.
