Unitree unveils a $5,900 kung-fu humanoid robot
Unitree Robotics just introduced the R1, a lightweight humanoid robot priced at $5,900 that can walk, run, dance, cartwheel, and perform kung-fu kicks. Standing 1.21 meters tall and weighing 25 kg, it packs 26 joints alongside AI-powered speech recognition. While its battery only lasts one hour, it is drastically cheaper than last year's $16,000 G1.
