An AI toilet camera just raised $10M to track gut health
Austin startup Throne Science just closed a $10M Series A to scale its Throne One toilet-mounted camera. Co-founded by former Whoop CTO John Capodilupo, the $400 gadget uses 12 specialized computer vision models and an acoustic sensor to passively track bowel and urinary health. Why it matters: it monitors critical GI metrics that smartwatches simply cannot reach.
