Researchers just introduced TARFlow, a scalable architecture that pairs autoregressive Transformers with exact-likelihood normalizing flows. By revamping traditional coupling layers and borrowing guidance techniques, it achieves diffusion-level quality across images and video while remaining fully invertible.
