Apple's STARFlow takes on diffusion models in high-res image generation
Apple researchers just introduced STARFlow, an image generation system combining normalizing flows with autoregressive transformers to rival DALL-E and Midjourney. Unlike iterative diffusion models, it enables exact maximum likelihood training in continuous spaces.
