Spotify's AI DJ now takes text requests

Spotify just upgraded its AI DJ for Premium subscribers, letting you type in your music requests instead of having to speak out loud. The update also brings request support to its Spanish-language DJ, DJ Livi, alongside personalized prompt suggestions. Why it matters: You can finally tweak your soundtrack on crowded commutes or in quiet rooms without looking weird talking to your phone.

Spotify's AI DJ can now take your voice requests

Spotify just updated its AI DJ feature to support voice commands, letting users request specific songs, switch genres, or change the playlist vibe just by speaking. Currently available in English across more than 60 markets for Premium subscribers, the update turns the passive commentary DJ into a two-way interactive selector.
