Alexa+ can now answer your door and shoo away salespeople
Amazon just rolled out Alexa+ Greetings for Ring doorbells, turning front porches into AI-managed checkpoints. The system uses Ring's camera to visually spot who is at the door—distinguishing delivery uniforms from unsolicited visitors—and lets Alexa naturally converse on your behalf to route packages or turn down sales pitches. It is currently rolling out to early-access users in the US and Canada.
