Google commits $10M to merge quantum tech and AI in biology
Google just launched REPLIQA, a joint initiative by Google Quantum AI and Google.org to apply quantum tech and AI to life sciences. The effort commits $10M to five universities, including Harvard and MIT, to build quantum sensors and simulate molecular processes like drug-metabolizing enzymes. Google cautions this is foundational research aiming for long-term breakthroughs rather than overnight results.
