AI-designed drug turns back biological age in phase 2a trial
Researchers just showed that rentosertib, an AI-designed drug candidate, significantly rolled back patients' biological age during a phase 2a clinical trial. By testing six proteomic aging clocks against serum samples, the team found treated patients shed an average of 2 to 3 years in biological age by week 4. The study proves standard disease trials can successfully double as anti-aging readouts.
