Recursive bags $650M to build self-improving AI
AI startup Recursive just emerged from stealth with a massive $650M funding round at a $4.65B valuation, led by GV and Greycroft with backing from NVIDIA and AMD. Founded by former leaders from OpenAI and DeepMind, the team is building AI that safely experiments on and improves itself. If models can automate their own scientific discovery, the race to superintelligence just found a massive shortcut.
