Google catches PROMPTFLUX, an AI malware that rewrites itself
Google's Threat Intelligence Group just uncovered PROMPTFLUX, a shapeshifting malware that uses LLMs to rewrite its own code mid-attack to slip past antivirus scanners. While the sample was caught in an unfinished testing phase with no known wild infections, it marks an alarming shift toward an autonomous AI cyber arms race.
