Perplexity brings autonomous AI agents to your Mac
Perplexity just launched Personal Computer inside a brand-new macOS app, bringing its autonomous agent teams directly to local desktops. The tool operates across local files, native Mac apps, and the web, and even lets you trigger tasks or approve actions from your iPhone. Why it matters: It turns your Mac—especially an always-on Mac mini—into a quiet, 24/7 background AI workforce.
