Hacker claims massive breach of China's Tianjin supercomputer
A hacker dubbed FlamingChina claims to have breached the National Supercomputing Center in Tianjin, stealing over 10 petabytes of classified defense and aerospace data. SentinelOne researchers reviewed leaked samples and called them credible. The attacker reportedly used compromised VPN credentials and a botnet to siphon data for six months undetected, asking for hundreds of thousands in crypto for full access.
