Multiverse unveils tiny AI models sized after fly and chicken brains
European startup Multiverse Computing just launched two ultra-compact AI models named SuperFly (94M parameters) and ChickBrain (3.2B parameters) for edge devices. Built using its quantum-inspired compression tech, SuperFly brings offline voice commands to smart appliances, while ChickBrain shrinks Llama 3.1 8B to run smoothly on laptops while reportedly matching or beating the original in benchmarks.
