Apple puts Neural Accelerators into every GPU core
Apple just introduced the latest 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro lineup running on new M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. Built with Neural Accelerators inside each GPU core, the machines process LLM prompts up to 4x faster than M4 models while doubling SSD speeds to 14.5GB/s. Why it matters: running heavy AI models on a laptop without tethering to cloud servers is quickly becoming standard for creative pros.
