Adobe just released a preview of its Reflection Removal tool inside Camera Raw, aiming to rescue photos ruined by glass reflections. Powered by AI trained on millions of simulated reflection pairs, it separates foreground reflections from background scenes and lets you adjust the effect via a slider. It currently only supports RAW files, with Lightroom rollout coming soon.
Adobe just rolled out Generative Remove to Lightroom in early access, letting photographers seamlessly edit out distracting objects across complex backgrounds. Powered by Firefly, it easily tackles everything from wrinkled tablecloths to tricky water reflections, while the Lens Blur tool also shed its beta tag.
Adobe just faced backlash after users realized Creative Cloud turns on a "content analysis" program by default. The company clarified that it doesn't use customer cloud data to train experimental generative AI features, but it does train general feature algorithms—and privacy-conscious users should opt out.
