Meta and KAUST want to turn AI models into computers
Researchers from Meta and KAUST just proposed Neural Computers, a paradigm where the AI model itself acts as the running computer instead of operating an external machine. By training video models to roll out CLI and GUI screens from user actions, early prototypes can simulate terminals and basic desktop clicks, though symbolic stability remains an open challenge.
