John Deere drops an AI assistant for farmers
John Deere just launched an AI assistant called JD to help farmers optimize their equipment and operations. The chatbot analyzes personal field, machinery, and operational data to answer questions about settings, fuel usage, and harvest timing. Amid long-running tensions over repair rights, the company also published a 10-point commitment pledging never to sell farm data.
