A middle finger to AI scrapers
Spawning just launched Kudurru, a defense network designed to block AI scrapers from harvesting artists’ works. Artists can automatically block scrapers crawling datasets like LAION-5B or actively poison their training data by returning junk images—like a middle finger. Why it matters: Until copyright laws catch up, creators finally have a free, active way to push back.
