OpenAI signs its first Brazilian news deal
OpenAI just struck content deals with Brazil’s Grupo Folha and Grupo UOL to bring their local reporting directly into ChatGPT. Over 900 million weekly active users will now see news summaries complete with attribution and direct links. In exchange, both publishers gain access to Codex, ChatGPT Enterprise, and APIs to develop internal and reader-facing tools.
