Google just unveiled Universal Cart at I/O 2026, a Gemini-powered shopping hub that spans Search, Gemini, YouTube, and Gmail. It tracks price drops across multiple retailers, flags incompatible items like mismatched PC components, and pairs with a new Agent Payments Protocol so AI agents can safely check out within your spending limits. Rollout begins in the U.S. this summer.
