Google puts Gemini into cars to replace Assistant
Google just began rolling out Gemini to cars with Google built-in, replacing Google Assistant across both new and existing models via software updates. Drivers can talk naturally to navigate, draft messages, and even query manufacturer owner's manuals for car-specific quirks. It gives in-car AI a much-needed brain upgrade beyond rigid voice commands.
