Google Beam turns regular video calls into 3D holograms
Google just evolved its Project Starline research into Google Beam, an enterprise 3D video communication platform powered by AI. Its volumetric video model converts standard 2D video feeds into realistic 3D visuals without requiring headsets, alongside near real-time speech translation. The first HP hardware will debut at InfoComm ahead of enterprise rollouts later this year.
