ByteDance's Lucida turns messy rooms into fully editable 3D scenes
ByteDance researchers just introduced Lucida, a pipeline that turns indoor video captures into interactive 3D simulations. Instead of outputting a single frozen mesh, it builds clean 3D assets for each detected object and uses a vision-language agent to place them precisely back into position.
