DuckDuckGo expands private AI with an off switch
DuckDuckGo just pushed its AI chat platform Duck.ai out of beta and upgraded AI search summaries. Users can access models like GPT-4o mini and Claude 3 Haiku for free and without an account, routing prompts through privacy proxies with local-only storage. Best of all, DDG added settings allowing users to dial down or completely turn off AI features.
