Character.ai drops PipSqueak 2 and teases Lorebook
Character.ai just launched PipSqueak 2, a major model upgrade available first to c.ai+ subscribers and heading to free users in early May. The new model keeps characters from breaking persona and cuts down repetitive phrasing. The platform also refreshed its Memory system with in-chat capture alerts, and previewed an upcoming Lorebook tool that attaches canon world lore directly to characters.
