South Park creators raise $20M for deepfake startup
South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone just landed a $20 million funding round for their synthetic media startup Deep Voodoo, led by Connect Ventures. It marks the team's first outside capital, meant to accelerate their proprietary AI face-swapping pipeline and bring fast, cost-effective visual effects to Hollywood.
