Perplexity's Comet Plus pays publishers for human and agent traffic
Perplexity just introduced Comet Plus, a $5-a-month subscription that unlocks premium publisher content and shares the proceeds with media partners. Instead of relying on clicks, the model pays publishers across three traffic types: human visits, search citations, and agent actions. It will be bundled free for Pro and Max subscribers.
