    Apple puts Claude agents straight inside Xcode

    Anthropic just announced that Apple's Xcode 26.3 natively integrates the Claude Agent SDK, bringing full Claude Code capabilities directly into the IDE. Instead of just answering turn-by-turn prompts, Claude can now execute autonomous coding tasks, explore whole project files, and inspect Xcode Previews to visually verify UI code. It is currently out as a Release Candidate for Apple Developer Program members.

The model hits 77.2% on SWE-bench Verified and jumps to 61.4% on the OSWorld computer-use benchmark, while keeping API pricing flat at $3/$15 per million tokens. Alongside the release, Anthropic opened up its Claude Agent SDK to let developers build custom autonomous agents.
