Microsoft and Mayo Clinic team up on frontier healthcare AI
Microsoft and Mayo Clinic just partnered to build a frontier AI model purpose-built for clinical reasoning and healthcare. Mayo will train the system on its de-identified patient data and retain ownership, while Microsoft provides the supercomputing power and plans to distribute it via Azure Foundry APIs.
