Researchers at the University of Chicago just built a flexible AI skin patch that analyzes health metrics on the body in milliseconds, completely bypassing the cloud. Using printed organic electrochemical transistors, the device mapped lethal heart rhythms with 99.6% accuracy even when stretched past 1.5 times its original size. It brings wearable tech much closer to instantaneous, on-skin clinical intervention.
