Apple just introduced a blood pressure notification feature that works on Apple Watch Series 11 and models back to Series 9 without requiring a dedicated cuff. Cleared by the FDA, the feature uses machine learning models trained on over 100,000 participants to spot hypertension patterns through the existing optical heart sensor. It won't give exact readings, but it will nudge millions of users to get checked before complications arise.
