Suno announces Suno Studio with multi-track and MIDI export

Published Reach 33

Suno just teased Suno Studio, an upcoming tool featuring multi-track creation and MIDI export, and opened sign-ups for its waitlist. It signals a shift from simple one-click music generation toward giving creators hands-on control over individual tracks and notes.

Generating a catchy AI song takes seconds, but trying to tweak just the bassline or swap out a synth sound has always hit a dead end.

Suno teased Suno Studio on X, opening up an official waitlist for what looks like its biggest workflow update yet.

From black box to real workstation

According to Suno, the upcoming studio environment will introduce multi-track creation and support direct export to MIDI.

Instead of walking away with just a single flattened audio file, creators will finally get granular control over separate parts of a song. Suno noted that more features are on the way, though it has not yet shared a launch date or pricing details.

Why it matters

For music producers, Suno has largely remained an impressive novelty because you could not easily pull its stems into standard digital audio workstations like Ableton or Logic for real post-production.

We think adding multi-track control and MIDI export is the exact bridge Suno needs to cross into serious music production. Exporting MIDI in particular means producers can grab the generated melodies and run them through their own custom software instruments, turning AI into an ideation partner rather than a closed loop.

That said, it remains to be seen how cleanly Suno Studio separates tracks and maps out MIDI notes once users actually get their hands on it.
