Steve Aoki's new AI model edits your raw video in minutes

Built with musician Steve Aoki, it learns a creator's taste from past videos and reference clips to get sharper with every project. Early access is currently open with three months free.

Shooting raw footage is often the fun part. The real grind is dragging hundreds of clips into an editing timeline and spending hours chopping out the dead air.

Selendis just launched Archon, a video foundation model designed to turn raw camera footage into finished edits in just minutes. The project was built by musician Steve Aoki alongside a group of industry experts.

An AI editor that learns your personal taste

Instead of spitting out rigid, generic templates, Archon aims to power personalized AI video editors that adapt to each creator.

It learns what you like from three main sources: the editing decisions made inside its multiplayer editor, your existing video catalog, and any reference clips you point it to.

According to the team, the system gets sharper with every single project it edits, continuously fine-tuning itself to a creator's or team's specific rhythm. Early access is currently open, complete with three months of free usage.

Why it matters

For high-output creators and lean production teams, rough cuts eat up an enormous amount of time. If Archon can reliably capture an editor's personal taste without requiring constant babysitting, it could remove one of the most tedious bottlenecks in content creation.

That said, editing relies heavily on emotional pacing, subtle comedic timing, and narrative flow. We think the real test will be whether Archon can actually understand those nuances over long sequences, or if it simply delivers slightly smarter automated cuts.
