Brookfield's $100B bet on NVIDIA AI factories

Published Reach 38

Brookfield just launched an ambitious plan to acquire up to $100 billion in AI infrastructure, teaming up with NVIDIA. Its AI cloud unit, Radiant, will build AI factories based on the NVIDIA DSX blueprint, designed to be Vera Rubin-ready for rapid deployment as demand surges.

Brookfield is going big on AI infrastructure with a massive $100 billion drive, and NVIDIA is right there to provide the blueprints.

NVIDIA announced its support for Brookfield's push to acquire up to $100 billion in AI infrastructure. As part of the initiative, Radiant, Brookfield's AI cloud platform, is building Vera Rubin-ready AI factories based on the NVIDIA DSX blueprint to rapidly scale deployment.

Prepping for Vera Rubin

The move centers on speed and scale. By adopting the NVIDIA DSX reference design, Radiant aims to quickly spin up data center capacity to keep pace with soaring global demand for compute.

Notably, Brookfield isn't just building for current hardware. These facilities are explicitly designed to be Vera Rubin-ready, laying the physical groundwork for NVIDIA's next-generation architecture well ahead of time.

Why it matters

We think this shows AI compute is fully graduating into traditional infrastructure. Massive private equity players like Brookfield are treating data centers like modern-day toll roads or power grids, backing them with staggering sums of capital.

For NVIDIA, licensing and promoting the DSX blueprint is a clever land grab. It ensures that when tens of billions of institutional dollars get deployed into concrete and power, they are hardwired directly into the upcoming Vera Rubin ecosystem before competitors even get a look.
