A voice-guided AI CEO pulls in $80k in 30 days

Nat Eliason just showcased Felix, an "AI CEO" built on OpenClaw that pulled in $80,000 in revenue in 30 days with a $1M–$2M ARR run rate. Running on just $400 a month, Felix autonomously builds sites, plugs into Stripe to sell skills, and manages sub-agents while its creator only gives voice commands.

Running a seven-figure business solo is hard enough. Handing the entire operation to an AI while you just send voice notes sounds like pure science fiction, but someone just made it work.

Nat Eliason showcased Felix, an "AI CEO" built on OpenClaw that pulled in $80,000 in revenue in its first 30 days. That puts the project on a $1M to $2M ARR run rate, with an ultimate goal of reaching $10 million.

The economics behind it are wild: launching the project cost just $1,500, with ongoing operating costs hovering at around $400 a month. Eliason's only job is sending high-level voice commands.

How an AI CEO runs a business

Felix operates as a genuinely autonomous operator rather than a simple assistant.

It set up its own website, plugged into Stripe to handle payments, and sells digital Skills on a marketplace called Claw Mart. When it needs extra hands for customer support or outbound sales, Felix "hires" and manages its own specialized sub-agents to do the job.

Eliason stays out of the code and the daily grind, effectively treating the AI as an operational partner.

Why it matters

We think this is one of the clearest glimpses yet of what a functional "zero-human company" looks like. Instead of humans using AI as an intern, the hierarchy is inverted: the AI acts as the general manager, coordinating sub-agents while the human simply acts as a board member providing verbal direction.

For solo founders, a sub-$2,000 launch cost changes the math on testing new business ideas. That said, selling software skills on an automated storefront is ideal territory for agents. Whether this setup can survive messy real-world logistics or complex customer disputes without human intervention remains to be seen.
