Muse AI will now make phone calls to businesses for you

Published Reach 31

Muse just expanded its beta to support outbound phone calls to US businesses, rolling out one of its most heavily requested features yet. Early access was prioritized for users who previously told the assistant they wanted phone capabilities. Having AI agents actually dial real-world businesses bridges the gap between digital chats and everyday tasks like making reservations or checking inventory.

AI assistants are great at drafting emails, but having them actually pick up the phone and call a real-world business is a whole different level of convenience.

Muse AI just expanded its beta program to roll out outbound phone calling to US businesses, answering one of the top user requests since its launch.

Shipped after a week of user feedback

The rollout is prioritizing folks who previously asked their Muse assistant to flag interest in the feature.

According to the team, they have already addressed hundreds of pieces of user feedback within just one week of launch. That includes everything from minor UI tweaks to massive additions like outbound calling. Muse is encouraging testers to keep sharing bug reports and integration ideas to keep their beta access.

Why it matters

For anyone juggling everyday chores, having an assistant that can call a store, check hours, or book a service saves real time. It shifts AI from being an advice engine into a true task runner.

That said, outbound calling always comes with real-world hurdles. We think the real test will be whether businesses hang up thinking it is just spam, and how well Muse navigates automated phone menus. Still, shipping a full calling feature just one week after launch based directly on feedback is an impressive pace.
