Lightricks can now turn your audio tracks into synced video
Lightricks just rolled out an audio-to-video feature that lets creators generate video directly from speech, music, or sound effects. The model understands beats and rhythm to keep visuals in sync with the track, making it easy to generate music clips, b-roll, and digital avatars. Basically, audio is becoming the new visual prompt.

Most AI video workflows start with a text prompt, leaving creators to hunt down background tracks and painstakingly match the cuts later. Lightricks wants to flip that script.
The team behind LTX Studio rolled out a new audio-to-video feature that lets you start directly from sound.
Video synced to the beat
Instead of describing a scene from scratch, users can now feed in speech, music, or sound effects to generate corresponding video footage.
According to LTX, the underlying model understands musical rhythm and beats, allowing it to produce video that naturally syncs with the timing and tempo of the audio. The feature is aimed at speeding up the creation of music videos, supplemental b-roll clips, and synchronized digital avatars.
Why it matters
For solo creators and editors, aligning visuals to an audio track is often the most tedious part of post-production. Turning audio into the prompt basically turns the soundtrack into an automatic storyboard.
We think this is a smart pivot: rather than just chasing higher resolutions in pure text-to-video, Lightricks is tackling the real friction point of audio-visual alignment. The real test will be seeing whether it can handle complex rhythms without visual artifacts or awkward warping.
