Leonardo.Ai just launched Veo 3 Fast, allowing users to generate 8-second videos with sound at up to 1080p. The new model runs up to 3x faster than standard Veo 3, making it ideal for rapid ideation and testing, and is already rolled out to existing Leonardo plans.

Leonardo.Ai just rolled out Veo 3 Fast on its platform, bringing a much-needed speed boost to creative workflows.
The new model generates 8-second video clips complete with sound, running up to 3x faster than the regular Veo 3. It also supports resolution up to 1080p.
Leonardo says it is tailored for rapid brainstorming, prompt and audio testing, and scalable fast-turnaround content creation.
It is already baked into existing Leonardo subscription tiers, so users can jump right in.
Why it matters
Waiting around for video models to render while tweaking prompts has always been a massive bottleneck for creators.
In our view, making video generation three times faster without dropping native audio hits a practical sweet spot. It does not need to replace your final high-end render to be immensely useful; cutting down the iteration loop makes rapid prototyping actually viable instead of painful.
