Ideogram lets brands train custom models on their own visual assets
Ideogram just launched Custom Models, letting teams train image generation models on their private brand assets instead of generic internet datasets. The update locks down brand-specific art direction, typography, and visual identity across every output, and is available immediately for Team, Pro, and Enterprise subscribers as well as via API.

Anyone trying to use AI image generators for real marketing work knows the headache: you can prompt all day, but the model will still butcher your typography and drift away from brand guidelines.
Ideogram is tackling that exact issue with its new Custom Models feature.
Training on your assets, not the web
Instead of relying entirely on generic web data, Custom Models lets you train a dedicated model using your own library of images.
According to Ideogram, every subsequent generation stays locked into your specific art direction, font styling, and brand visual identity.
The feature is available now for Pro, Team, and Enterprise subscribers, and teams can also plug it directly into internal workflows via API.
Why it matters
For designers, agencies, and marketing teams, AI generation tools often fall short on consistency rather than pure creativity. Keeping output strictly on-brand has historically required clunky workarounds.
Ideogram is already famous for getting text right inside images. Combining that typographic edge with custom brand training looks like a sharp move against larger rivals, directly targeting enterprise design pipelines.
That said, custom model quality usually hinges on how clean your training dataset is. Small teams will need to weigh whether the Pro-tier investment delivers reliable consistency without endless tuning.
