HeyGen drops HyperFrames, an agent-native HTML-to-MP4 tool

Published Reach 46

HeyGen just open-sourced HyperFrames, an agent-native framework that converts HTML into MP4 videos, built entirely inside Claude Code. It allows AI agents to programmatically generate video workflows, and HeyGen even proved the concept by producing its own launch video inside Claude Code.

HyperFrames is HeyGen’s new open-source video generation framework designed specifically for AI agents, converting HTML pages directly into MP4 videos.

How it works

What sets it apart is its agent-native design. HeyGen built the entire framework directly inside Claude Code so that AI agents could programmatically produce video content. To prove it actually works, HeyGen produced its own launch video entirely inside Claude Code using HyperFrames.

Getting started is straightforward: you can install it into your agent workflow by running the command npx skills add heygen-com/hyperframes. HeyGen is also sharing the full source code behind their launch video via their post on X.

Why it matters

If you are building autonomous agents or automated production pipelines, using HTML as the rendering canvas for video is a clever shortcut. Agents are already great at generating HTML and styling layouts, and turning that markup directly into MP4 files eliminates the need to integrate heavy video editing APIs.

We think this meaningfully lowers the friction for agent-driven motion graphics and video workflows. If you work with Claude Code or build agentic systems, it is definitely worth a spin.
