Glancing down at your phone during a meeting is always awkward. Halliday wants to solve that by putting your notes right in front of your eyes.

Hardware maker Halliday just unveiled the Halliday G2, a new generation of AI-powered smart glasses tailored for conversations, meetings, and everyday tasks. The device is now available for priority access on the company's official website.

Heads-up AI without pulling out your phone

Unlike many smart frames on the market that rely entirely on audio feedback, the Halliday G2 features a built-in display.

It is positioned as a practical wearable designed to help you stay present. Instead of digging through your pocket or tapping on a smartphone screen, the glasses aim to deliver real-time AI assistance during routine work, business calls, and day-to-day moments directly into your field of view.

Why it matters

If your schedule is packed with meetings, scanning quick visual cues beats waiting for an AI voice to whisper in your ear every single time. It is faster, more discreet, and far less distracting in public settings.

We think shifting from audio-only frames back toward built-in displays is the natural evolution for wearable AI, but it is also the hardest engineering route. Adding a display usually means compromises in battery life and weight. With only priority access open right now, waiting to see real-world battery tests looks like the safest bet for most people.
