Gemini hooks up with Ticketmaster, OpenTable, and more

Published Reach 36

Google just announced a major wave of third-party app connections coming to Gemini over the next few weeks. The rollout includes apps like Otter.ai, Ticketmaster, OpenTable (UK), and Pandora, allowing users to book dinners, buy event tickets, and stream playlists directly within Gemini. It is a big step toward turning the chatbot into a do-it-all personal agent.

Google is making sure Gemini can do more than just talk about your to-do list.

At its Made by Google event, Google announced that a fresh batch of third-party apps is rolling out to the Gemini assistant over the coming weeks, letting the AI actually pull levers in the real world.

From doctor visits to concert tickets

The new wave covers a lot of ground. For work, you get integrations with Granola, Otter.ai, and Wix to summarize meetings or tweak web pages.

For going out, users can book local experiences through Fever and GetYourGuide, reserve a table via OpenTable UK, hunt for tickets on Ticketmaster, or rent a car through Localiza.

On top of that, music streaming adds iHeartRadio and Pandora, while everyday chores get help from Angi and Thumbtack for home repairs, plus Zocdoc for booking doctor appointments.

Why it matters

The real test for any AI assistant isn't answering trivia, it's getting stuff done without sending you across five different apps. By connecting services people already rely on, Google is steadily turning Gemini into an execution layer rather than just a chat surface.

For everyday users, being able to plan a night out and actually book the table and tickets in one breath is genuinely useful. That said, we think the friction of account linking and credential sharing will be the make-or-break hurdle. If the AI stumbles on bookings or asks for repeated permissions, people will just jump back into the standalone apps.
