Google Gemini now turns your ideas into 10-page illustrated audiobooks
Google just launched a personalized storybook creator inside the Gemini app. Users can describe a premise or upload personal photos and kids' doodles, and Gemini will generate a unique 10-page book with custom artwork and read-aloud narration. It supports over 45 languages and diverse styles like claymation or pixel art, available globally on web and mobile.

Coming up with bedtime stories on the fly is hard, and reading plain AI-generated text off a phone screen isn't much better.
Google just rolled out a new feature in the Gemini app that turns your ideas into personalized, 10-page illustrated storybooks complete with voice narration.
From kids' doodles to fully narrated books
Available globally on desktop and mobile, the tool works in more than 45 languages.
Users can simply describe a plot, or upload their own photos and files for inspiration. You can take a 7-year-old's crayon drawing and bring it to life, or turn snapshots from a family trip to Paris into a custom fantasy adventure.
Visual styles are surprisingly flexible, spanning pixel art, comics, claymation, crochet, and even printable coloring book pages. Google pitches it for everything from explaining the solar system to preschoolers to crafting moral lessons starring your kid's favorite animal.
Why it matters
Creating an AI storybook used to be a tedious DIY project: prompting a chatbot for text, running multiple image prompts in Midjourney while praying for character consistency, and stitching in audio from a third-party TTS tool.
Google basically packaged text, multimodal image generation, and audio into a single, polished consumer workflow. We think this is a smart pivot away from purely enterprise-focused AI toward tangible family utility. It lowers the barrier of entry to zero for parents, even if long-form visual consistency remains an open question worth testing.
