CreatorKit just teamed up with ElevenLabs to launch Emotive AI Actors, allowing brands to generate video ads where AI avatars match the script's emotional tone. By delivering realistic expressions ranging from excitement to calm, CreatorKit says video conversion rates climbed 16%.

If you have spent any time looking at AI-generated video ads, you know the feeling. The avatars look glossy, the lip sync is mostly fine, but the emotional delivery is completely dead inside, sounding like a robot reading a warranty card.

Video creation platform CreatorKit is teaming up with ElevenLabs to tackle this deadpan problem. The two companies introduced Emotive AI Actors, letting businesses generate realistic video ads with dynamic emotional range just by typing out a text script.

Scripts that actually feel something

Traditional AI video generators usually treat all copy the same way, giving you a flat performance whether the script calls for an urgent flash sale or a quiet tutorial.

CreatorKit’s system reads each line of the script and detects the intended emotion behind it. It then pairs that line with ElevenLabs’ Professional Voice Cloning technology, adjusting the delivery to sound excited, curious, or calm.

To keep things legally clean, all the cloned voices were captured with full permissions, giving brands IP security alongside high audio fidelity.

According to CreatorKit, injecting emotional nuance actually works. The company reports a 16% increase in conversion rates for video ads made with these emotionally tuned voices.

CreatorKit founder and CEO Kevin Natanzon called ElevenLabs the only company capable of capturing and maintaining emotions during voice cloning, noting the feature wouldn't exist without them.

Why it matters

We think the synthetic video race is finally moving past basic photorealism and into emotional execution. High-definition avatars that speak in a monotone trigger an uncanny valley effect that can kill customer trust faster than a cheap cartoon.

For marketers, performance advertisers, and small businesses, this is huge. It removes the expensive barrier of hiring live-action talent just to test hook variations across social platforms. If typing a script can yield genuine-sounding excitement, video creative testing gets drastically cheaper and faster.

However, the real test lies in nuance. Having an algorithm guess the emotion of every sentence carries the risk of tone-deaf delivery if the context is sarcastic, subtle, or nuanced. And as emotionally driven synthetic actors flood feeds, audiences might quickly develop a radar for algorithmic enthusiasm.
